Meet Our Instructor
Luanne has taught social dance lessons and wedding dance lessons for fifteen-plus years. Her husband Joe assists her with large groups and performances.

A bit of Integral history!
 How It All BeganLuanne and Joe OBrien began dancing in 1997 to stay healthy and enjoy a hobby together. Little did Luanne know that dance would become a significant part of her life’s work. |  Getting More SeriousAfter three years of lessons and dedicated practice, Joe and Luanne competed as amateurs in Ballroom Dance events throughout the US and Canada. |  Integral Ballroom OpensLuanne opened Integral Ballroom in 2008 (renamed Integral Enrichment Center in 2018). Located in the heart of Murrysville, and with easy access to Pittsburgh, classes filled quickly. |

 Time To Turn It Up A NotchOver the course of the next decade, Luanne traveled to New York City to train with Pasha Paskov, seven-time United States 10-Dance Champion, Latin Champion and current Pro Dancer on Dancing with the Stars. |  Adult Ballroom ClassesWhat fun is learning to dance if you never go out dancing? Combined with lessons, Luanne’s Friday night social dance parties provided an ideal setting for perfecting freshly learned moves, meeting new people, and simply having fun. |  Wedding DancesAs a wedding officiant, Luanne was frequently asked if she would also consider teaching her couples how to dance. Her schedule quickly filled with couples requesting lessons for their wedding dance. |
 Youth ClassesIt delighted Luanne that her youth classes were well-attended. Students of all ages enjoyed learning how to dance, how to partner, and perform. |  DanceSport For SchoolsIn 2010, Luanne began teaching at local public and private schools. Her program was taught during physical education class, and ended with a DanceSport Competition or Showcase. |  Line DancingLine Dancing was introduced in 2013 as an option for students to kick up their heels without needing to have a partner. Both country and Latin line dances were taught. |
 Dancing For CharitiesWith the support of countless local celebrities, ballroom dancers and volunteers, Luanne has raised close to $1,000,000 for local charities through her charity events. |  Line Dance Flash MobLearning different Line Dance routines can rejuvenate the body and mind. Many of Luanne’s Line Dancers parlayed their skills into much loved Flash Mob performances for local charities. |  Ballroom Outreach ProgramsIn 2016, Luanne began providing a supportive environment for all dancers, regardless of physical ability. Many organizations have benefited throughout the years. |
 Professional PerformancesLuanne is no stranger to the stage. Besides her annual celebrity events, Luanne has performed professionally in front of thousands of people. |  Dancing With Reality2021 required that our dance environment be safe for all and we moved to our newly remodeled home studio. Our BEST MOVE yet! |  Still Having FunLuanne continues to dance and teach in her home studio and out in the community. She loves sharing her knowledge and passion with all. |
